½ oz Scentiment |
½ oz Islay Scotch, such as Laphroaig |
1½ oz Highland/Speyside Scotch, such as Macallan or Glenivet |
¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice |
½ - 1 oz Honey |
½ oz Ginger Liqueur |
Combine the ingredients except Islay Scotch in a cocktail shaker
Fill the shaker with ice cubes for three-quarters
Shake, and strain into a Rock glass with a large ice cube
Float the Islay scotch on top by pouring it gently over the back of a spoon
Garnish with candied ginger, lemon peel, or both
